The Root of the Problem is Racism

"I think the root of the problem with police brutality is that racism is the law of the land  and we look at policy. Like a lot of not just NYPD but other police departments across the country that are able to I think they are able to act the way that they do is because they can rely on policies that allow them to do what they’re doing in the first place. The problem is that whenever people who are directly impacted try to speak out against that and still either use and still saying you know “statistics” to justify you know saying why they’re doing it.  They’ll use issues that happen within our community, you know saying like crime you know say robbery, you know say murder as a way to justify it. But I feel that that analysis is very racist."
